. as far as the warm temperatures you can see right new in the lower 09's toward fairfield, concord, antioch and livermore. san jose not as warm but still nice. oakland at 71 and downtown san francisco in the mid60's. here is what's happened. the layer of hot air on top of us. as a result we have some very dense fog to the coast that. will be a concern in the short term for tonight and early tomorrow morning. here is the cloud forecast model. lue notice tomorrow morning some of the fog mainly just coast side away from this. mostly clear skies inland and temperatures, has been cold to start out the day. a repeat performance first thing tomorrow morning. the readings in the mid40s in the north bay to the low to mid50s in san jose. here is the forecast, we take this into tomorrow for labor day. downtown around 70 degrees. look what happens as you head inland. temperature sensor going up and the warmest locations little warmer than today. that means a few neighborhoods approaching the mid-90s. when the warming trend ends and highlight the coolest day of the workweek. >> there was great

of the same deal. temperatures about the same. it'll be warm. you have heat inland. upper 08's. low 90's. point of interest in vegas. they are getting hammered, you see this area, the flash flood warnings for the next few. they have been getting heavy street flooding. they have really had issues down there. we will talk more about that. winds off shore. gusting to about 20 miles an hour. n 't winds are coming on shore. tomorrow morning it's cool. it's -- the morning has been chilly. checking some of the observations, getting down to 41 degrees overnight. that's cold. we are seeing very cold overnight lows in the inland bay valleys. you will see a lot of 70s and 80s and a couple low 90s. the high pressure there. it's not real strong or we would see off shore winds but it's shallow enough, keeping the inland valleys warm. there is a good shot we will see coastal clearing. i mentioned the overnight lows, 44 santa rosa, but, if you get up toward saint helena, you will find temperatures in the low 40s. that is cold. for this time of year. 49234 san rafael. that's chilly. going to school

it'll be again tomorrow. temperatures tomorrow. 80's -- low 90's north and south. for us more of the sail. what we had is what we will have tomorrow. that means lit the change for thursday, friday, temperatures start to come up little bit. the bay area weekend, friday, saturday, temperatures warmer. sunday they come down. the changes, are all pretty subtle. overnight lows, pretty cool in the north bay. 46 santa rosa. you get off in the inland valleys you will have 41, 42 degrees. the fog tomorrow morning it'll be there, showed that to you. we will back it out. we have plenty of sun along the coast. little set sun but there is the temperature foot print. lots of 70's tomorrow. the reason for this mild summer weather, because it's still summer is this low pressure center. it shouldn't be here. a good portion of the summer. that's why temperatures have been cool. the system stays right through tomorrow. with it here give us a cooler environment and puts united states between the warmth and the valley and the cool at the coast and the temperatures like these right down the middle. lots o

cover, we still got into the mid and upper 80's in the inland valleys. this is extremely unstable air. that's why that red flag warning goes into effect. the computer model didn't show green, but remember i said? hey, listen, this stuff is unstable. it wouldn't take much for something to happen. this stuff is absolutely unstable. it could easily trigger off a thunderstorm. that's where we are tonight and through tomorrow, till about noontime. the best bet for one of these should bees in the bay area is probably going to be between midnight tonight and 3 or 4 in the morning. the computer model sets us up at 10:00 tonight. the green is up here. the model is not used to this stuff. this is not a typical scenario. i do know there is a lot of subtropical moisture and this is unstable. it's in the area between 10 and 3:00 in the morning. the big story really right now for us is the next 24 hours. forecast highs tomorrow, 87 in fairfield. i bring it up as a big deal only in that the models aren't suggesting it's going to explode, but this is the kind of thing that can explode. i'm back here

this much tropical moisture north, remember last time this happened lightning strike s and lots of fire. lots of moisture. they're not forecasting any rain. but it doesn't take much for this when you get these kinds of dynamics. that's wednesday at 1:00. then we get into thursday at 9:00 a.m. it's still lingering and you get thundershowers showing up. the models having with this right now but this is an ongoing deal. we'll watch it for you but that's a lot of moisture and it can be incredibly unstable and it can put us in a bad situation wednesday into thursday. we'll see thunderstorms popping up thursday evening that's the last thing you want on the west of the sierra nevada. we'll watch it for you for sure. right now the models aren't that bullish on some big activity but you never know. so we'll watch it. forecast highs tomorrow there you go. 82 in mountain view. you will see it's warmer about the same tomorrow. a little cooler middle of the week and then temperatures tweak up a little bit saturday and sunday. we'll update it for you certainly tomorrow morning and i'll be on it
